Summer Anime Week 5: Part 3

Finally at the end of week 5 episodes.  With the conclusion of the 5th week we have Dantalian no Shoka, Kamisama no Memochou and Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi. Dantalian no Shoka finally has another phantom book while Narumi is helping manage a band in Kamisama no Memochou. Then finally we have more enemies and a deal being made in Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi.

Dantalian no Shoka

In the 4th episode of Dantalian no Shoka, Hugh and Dalian are off to see the author who sent a plea for help. Hugh wasn’t sure he wanted to go, but Dalian decided they must. That was mainly because the last book in the trilogy wasn’t out yet, and she needed to know what happened next. So they were off. The ride there was uneventful other than Dalia eating Hugh’s share of the snacks as well as hers.

When the two made it to the author’s house, they were turned away for the day. A woman, who claimed to be the wife, said that she would inform the author, Lenny, that they had arrived and would like to meet with him. She then informed Hugh and Dalian that they would be able to see him the next day. They couldn’t argue with that, but it definitely made them suspicious. So they came again at night and saw the woman come from the shed. Then they visited the shed and found that Lenny was murdered, but also that another woman was there, Lenny’s lover. The lover made them promise to save him the next day and not to worry about her. They wouldn’t have much of a choice.

After meeting with Lenny, the two waited until it was night again and found that the lover was dead this time.  They soon found out the reasoning for it. The “wife” was murdering Lenny and the lover, but the two would come back because of the phantom book of resurrection. There wasn’t much of a chance to try to save the two of them or to seal the book.  Lenny and the lover, after being killed so many times, merged together and became a spirit that eventually disappeared.  It’s great they were able to stay together, but it’s too bad that they couldn’t stay as humans together. A sad and happy ending.

Kamisama no Memochou

Narumi is hired to help promote and manage a band. Yondaime is the one that hires him.  Narumi is in charge of checking out the venue, creating the website and updating the logo among other small tasks. Narumi’s classmate, Ayaka, helps him out with checking out the venues and taking pictures there. Not too long after they start their work, a problem occurs with the Hirasaka group, which the Yondaime is in charge of. All the group’s shirts that were going to be used to backstage were stolen by someone who had to be able to easily gain access to the Hirasaka groups building.

While Narumi was out fulfilling his tasks he meets a powerful guy named Renji. Renji, with his crazily styled brown and blonde hair, forces Narumi to buy new shirts for him after Narumi had dirtied his shirt. He had helped Renji out because he was afraid of the fight that would have broken out at the venue Narumi was looking at. The two became fast friends, but Renji leaves in a hurry, leaving his dirty shirt with Narumi. The situation between Narumi, Renji and the trouble happening with the Hirasaka group seem tied together, though nothing is mentioned at first.

Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi

Bahlskra was destroyed in the 4th episode. So in the 5th episode Taito has to deal with the Rapture spell that takes over Himea’s body. This took longer than was probably necessary. The Rapture would have been fine with destroying Taito, but also seemed to want him to make love to her. I’m not sure if that would set the spell off, but I’m going to assume so. We never find out why the Rapture wanted to, but all that seems to really matter is that Taito was able to bring Himea back which destroyed the Rapture. Himea and Taito proclaimed their love for each other, and doom was put off for awhile again.

Since the last episode, Gekkou and Mirai had gone into the black hole, but we finally get to find out what was happening on the other side. The Seraphim had “called” to Gekkou wanting to strike a deal with him. The first deal was to destroy Himea, but he didn’t want to kill one of his servants. He declined that one. The next deal, which was the one he took, was to stop the witch Ramiel Lilith.

At the end, we see that Hinata is still alive. Of course he can’t be gotten rid of that easily. We’ll soon find out what he is planning to do with Taito’s friend, Haruka.
